NextGen Learning & Leadership Program

Empowering the Next Generation of Community Changemakers

The NextGen Learning & Leadership Program is a collaborative initiative of Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (TVNPA) and Three Valleys Community Foundation (3VCF) designed to inspire, educate, and equip high school students who are passionate about making a difference in their communities.

Through a unique combination of leadership development, nonprofit education, philanthropy, and one-on-one mentorship, participants gain an inside look at how nonprofits create meaningful change while developing the knowledge and skills to become tomorrow’s community leaders. Whether students aspire to launch a nonprofit, strengthen a community initiative, serve on a board, pursue a career in the nonprofit sector, or simply become more engaged citizens, NextGen provides the foundation
to turn passion into action.

A Partnership Built on Shared Purpose

NextGen brings together the complementary strengths of TVNPA and 3VCF.

Three Valleys Community Foundation introduces students to the power of philanthropy, charitable giving, and community investment, while Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance provides an immersive look into nonprofit leadership and connects students directly with experienced nonprofit executives through a structured mentoring program.

Together, the two organizations have created a six-month experience that combines classroom learning, real-world perspectives, and meaningful professional relationships to prepare the next generation of community changemakers.

Building Tomorrow’s Nonprofit Leaders
