Environment & Climate Roundtable

Join us for the Environment & Climate Roundtable.
The next cohort begins in April 2026! The free, drop-in, quarterly meetings will be held at CommonPoint Nonprofit Center in Livermore, CA, and online from 3:00 pm – 4:15 pm.

The dates for the 2026 meetings are:
April 8
July 15
October 14
and January 13, 2027

This roundtable provides a valuable opportunity for people working on environmental protection and climate action to connect and collaborate, share proven practices, address common challenges, gain new perspectives, and advocate for change.

Who should attend:

  • Environmental professionals (scientists, educators, conservationists, policy analysts, etc.)
  • Nonprofit staff and volunteers
  • Community organizers
  • Educators and students
  • Advocates and policymakers
  • Anyone passionate about environmental protection and climate action

Format:
Quarterly meetings that are 75 minutes long. Each meeting will feature a brief presentation or discussion on a relevant topic, followed by ample time for open discussion and networking.

Please register so we may best prepare for the program. 2025 cohort members do not need to re-register.

Terry L. Chang serves as the Director of Operations for Tri-Valley Air Quality Climate Alliance, a fiscally sponsored organization founded in 2020 to help reduce local air pollution, enhance community well-being, and adopt actionable climate solutions. As a nature enthusiast with a dual degree in health science and literature, she is deeply committed to stewarding the environment through education, creative problem-solving, and community engagement. She perceives climate change as an opportunity for people to collaborate for positive collective impact.


Phil Bowman is a retired aerospace engineer and program manager dedicated to improving air quality and protecting the Tri-Valley’s natural environment. He serves as Co-Chair of the Tri-Valley Air Quality Climate Alliance (TVAQCA) and sits on the City of Pleasanton’s Energy & Environment Commission and Bicycle, Pedestrian and Trails Committee. He is especially active in TVAQCA’s educational outreach, engaging students and families at local science nights and community events.
