TVNPA’s “Livermore Connects” Unite for the Salud Y Sol End of Summer Health Fiesta

The Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (TVNPA) is thrilled to announce a momentous collaboration with Axis Community Health, City Serve of the Tri-Valley, Tri-Valley Haven, and Open Heart Kitchen under the banner of “Livermore Connects.” Together, they are proud to present the “Salud Y Sol End of Summer Health Fiesta,” a free community event that promises an exciting day filled with health-focused activities and resources for the residents of the Tri-Valley area.

The Salud Y Sol End of Summer Health Fiesta will take place on Saturday, August 12th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the scenic May Nissen Community Park in Livermore. This event aims to foster a sense of community while offering valuable health-related services, information, and activities for attendees of all ages.

One of the highlights of the Health Fiesta is the Health Passport, which encourages attendees to explore each partner’s booth and complete their passports for a chance to win a gift certificate prize. The partner organizations will be hosting a diverse range of interactive and educational activities, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Event Highlights:

  • Food, Music, and Face Painting: Savor delicious food, groove to uplifting tunes, and let your creativity run wild with engaging face painting for the whole family.
  • Quest Science Center’s Rocket Activity: Embark on an out-of-this-world experience at the Quest Science Center booth, where you can learn about rockets and engage in exciting hands-on activities.
  • Tri-Valley Haven’s Backpack Giveaway: Visit the Tri-Valley Haven booth to receive free backpacks filled with essential school supplies for elementary through high school students, helping them confidently start the new academic year.
  • Axis Community Health’s Health Information and Kits: Gain valuable health information, nutrition tips, and receive dental kits from Axis Community Health, ensuring your overall well-being.

Several organizations are also lined up to participate including CAPE Headstart, Spectrum Community Services, Partners for Change, City of Livermore, and Tri-Valley Air Quality Community Alliance. With more to come!
