Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance Selected by Alameda County to Lead Coalition to Expand Community Outreach and Resource Navigation in North Livermore

The Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (TVNPA) has been selected by Alameda County to lead the Coalition to Expand Community Outreach and Resource Navigation in North Livermore.
The two-year award from will further support the work of TVNPA’s Anti-Poverty Collaborative to expand efforts to address the needs of the people living at or near poverty in our communities.
The Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance Coalition seeks to address community resilience and assist with the expansion of access to services including mental health, healthcare, emergency financial assistance, temporary and permanent housing, food distribution, and domestic violence support. Outreach and community support will focus on improving the health and economic outcomes for those disproportionally affected by service gaps including Black, African American, Latinx, LGBT+, formerly incarcerated, survivors of trauma and violence, and those experiencing housing insecurity/homelessness.
Partners in the coalition include: TVNPA, Axis Community Health, Open Heart Kitchen, Tri-Valley Haven and City Serve of the Tri-Valley.
The Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance has been a leader and funder for nonprofit organizations for 9 years, and has the depth and breadth of experience necessary to further develop and lead this coalition of partners to provide resource navigation and community outreach to the vulnerable and under reached populations in North Livermore.

The TVNPA Coalition is committed to expanding access to services, and to working together to close the referral loop between agencies to better support the most vulnerable populations in our communities. By collaborating with local organizations and community leaders, the coalition will help to address critical needs related to health and economic challenges.
