Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance Announces Winners of the Power of Giving: Salute to Impact Makers

Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (TVNPA) proudly announces the Power of Giving: Salute to Impact Makers winners.
This annual event took place at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore on Wednesday, November 8th, where nearly 300 people came together to celebrate the remarkable contributions of individuals and organizations in the community.
“We are ecstatic to recognize our winners and nominees’ phenomenal work and dedication to the Tri-Valley. Each has made a significant impact in our community, and their commitment to service is truly inspiring,” said Kathy Young, CEO of TVNPA.

The event also highlighted the impressive work of all nominees in these categories and the dozens of nonprofits receiving grant funding through the Tri-Valley Nonprofit Fund throughout the year, reflecting the diverse and dynamic nonprofits serving the Tri-Valley area.
TVNPA extends heartfelt thanks to elected officials and community leaders who attended the celebration and for supporting the non-profits doing great work in the Tri-Valley.
A special appreciation goes to the event sponsors: Livermore Valley Arts, Poppy Bank, AMAEAB, Jean King, Hacienda, Connected Philanthropy, Fremont Bank, Susan Hayes, Lee’s Imperial Welding, Safeway, Eric Swalwell, and Terry’s Tree Service. Their support was instrumental in making the event a success.
The evening was further enhanced with fabulous food from Maple Street Eatery, local wines from Wente and Concannon Vineyards, and musical entertainment by Meredith McHenry. The inspiring keynote address by Chris Helfrich from the Eat. Learn. Play Foundation and words of encouragement from Emcee Dr. Dyrell Foster were appreciated by everyone in attendance. Attendees were also thrilled to have Carrie Varoquiers, Chief Philanthropy Officer at Workday Emcee, the awards portion of the event, where she announced a $50,000 to the TVNPA Tri-Valley Nonprofit Fund for 2024 grantmaking!
The Power of Giving: Salute to Impact Makers event acknowledged the achievements of these individuals and organizations and highlighted our community’s collective strength and compassion.
