Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance Announces Nominations for the 3rd Annual Power of Giving: Salute to Impact Makers Event

The Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance is thrilled to announce that nominations are now open for the 3rd Annual Power of Giving: Salute to Impact Makers event. This highly anticipated celebration is set to take place on Wednesday, November 8th at 6pm at the esteemed Bankhead Theater.


Every year, the Power of Giving event unites nonprofit organizations, philanthropists, volunteers, and change agents under one roof to honor their collective efforts in transforming the Tri-Valley into a thriving, compassionate community.


Today, we are excited to announce that nominations are now being accepted to recognize and honor the outstanding nonprofits, exceptional individuals, and corporate philanthropists who have made remarkable contributions to our community. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to celebrate the unwavering dedication that has brought about significant change in the lives of countless individuals.

We are seeking nominations to identify and acknowledge the philanthropic organizations, inspirational individuals, and socially responsible corporations that have left an indelible mark on the lives of the underserved in the Tri-Valley.


A distinguished panel of judges comprising local government leaders, media representatives, and esteemed community members will meticulously review all submissions and select the deserving recipients who will be honored during our Power of Giving Celebration on November 8, 2023.
Award Categories:

  1. Excellence in Impact: Recognizing both large (operating budget $1M and above) and small (operating budget under $1M) nonprofit organizations.
  2. Unsung Heroes: Honoring individuals within nonprofit organizations who tirelessly contribute but often receive little to no recognition.
  3. Lifetime Achievement: Celebrating a decades-long commitment to nonprofit causes and remarkable accomplishments.
  4. Corporate Contributor/Philanthropic Partner: Saluting for-profit organizations that have significantly impacted nonprofits through contributions and fundraising efforts.
  5. Arts and Culture: Appreciating nonprofit organizations that have positively influenced communities through their dedication to arts and culture.

The deadline for submissions is August 31, 2023. We encourage everyone to submit their nominations! Your participation will contribute towards recognizing the selfless work of those that have made a tremendous difference in our community.
