About the Series
Top Performing Boards is a Certificate Program designed for seasoned and novice board members, nonprofit professionals, and anyone interested in forming a board of directors or starting a nonprofit. This program is appropriate for organizations located anywhere in the United States.
Certificate Program Instructors
Dr. Lydia is a Certified Business Coach & Certified Employee Performance Coach and Founder and CEO of Pure Momentum Consulting, with over 15 years of wisdom from walking alongside organizations and individuals on their pathways to success, through her breadth of experience in the education, non-profit, and business sectors. She has served on the Board of Directors for World Hope International (2018- 2020), in addition to holding other administrative and leadership roles in several nonprofit agencies. Along with being a paid speaker and trainer, Dr. Lydia is also the author of the Organizational Poverty Series. In addition to her Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership, she holds a BA in English and Psychology and an MA in Education (Instructional Leadership).
Dr. Ross is a recognized leader on board and organizational development and strategy and the founder of The Ross Collective, a consulting firm that designs and leads inclusive, participatory processes for social sector boards and staff. Committed to racial equity in the nonprofit sector, Dr. Ross guides leaders and organizations in strategic plans and governance processes that deepen social change, racial justice, stakeholder engagement, and community strength. In addition to her consulting work, Dr. Ross is the Director of the Cal State University East Bay Nonprofit Management Certificate Program, where she also teaches Strategic Planning and Board Development, and serves on the board of the Alliance for Nonprofit Management.
Jane Scaccetti is Of Counsel at Armanino, LLP. Ms. Scaccetti is a recognized trailblazer, governance expert, and SEC audit committee financial expert in the accounting industry. Early in her career, she was named the first woman tax partner at the international firm Laventhol & Horwath, and eventually co-founded and served as CEO at the firm Drucker & Scaccetti before joining Armanino as Firm Ambassador and Chief Storyteller. Ms. Scaccetti’s current corporate board assignments include the board of Penn Entertainment (NASDAQ:PENN) as Audit Committee Chair and on the Compliance Committee; Chairman of the Board at Mathmatica Policy Research. Her current civic and community board memberships include several committee assignments for Temple University, The Philadelphia Foundation, and the Women’s Nonprofit Leadership Initiative.
Carolyn Siegfried joined the Pedrozzi Scholarship Foundation as Executive Director in 2013, following management roles at regional nonprofit agencies and an early career in high-tech marketing in the Silicon Valley. She has produced and hosted shows for Tri-Valley Community Television (TV30), and served on several nonprofit boards, including as a founding board member and former Board Chair of the Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance. Ms. Siegfried holds MBA and General Engineering degrees from Santa Clara University and presently sits on the Board of Directors of Axis Community Health.
