Programs Overview
Programming excellence is a hallmark of TVNPA. Whether its presenting knowledgeable speakers or providing opportunities to meet new people and grow your network of support, TVNPA programs are meant to stimulate, invigorate and help you and your organization to thrive.
Monthly Programs
Learn new skills, network with other nonprofits and businesses… find answers to unanswered questions… ponder new paths for your organizations! All of this, and more, regularly greets our participants at TVNPA’s monthly programs. Held the second Thursday of each month (except August), from 10 am to noon, at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore (2400 First St., Livermore) , our monthly program features knowledgeable experts on relevant topics for nonprofit organizations and the people who work in, serve and support the sector in our region.
Our extended programs held throughout the year on an annual basis include the TVNPA Forum and Grantmakers Panel. The TVNPA Forum is a fee-based, half-day conference exploring specific topics based on timely questions and challenges faced by many nonprofits. The Forum features a coordinated panel of speakers in conversation about best practices, resources and educational opportunities design to advance the successes and impact of nonprofits striving to achieve their missions. The Grantmakers Panel focuses on information and education regarding foundation, corporate and governmental development and funding opportunities.
All regular monthly programs are free of cost and open to all, with the exception of our half-day Forum. Our free monthly programs are made possible by the generosity of our program sponsor the Bankhead Theater, funding from TVNPA memberships, monthly sponsorships, and the ever-popular raffles (with wonderful prizes!) held at each program. Special Events
Like to network? TVNPA members enjoy special networking opportunities for socializing and business learning. Our recent event brought 40 people to the Livermore Community Center for drinks, hors-d’oeuvres, and raffle prizes and 25 people to Casa Orozco for Fajitas & Feedback, where we discussed what members want from TVNPA. Like jazz? You would have loved our jazz night fundraiser at Inklings in Pleasanton. Our sold-out Power of Mission dinner held at Pleasanton’s Blue Agave Club celebrated TVNPA Co-Founder Mony Nop and Alameda County Supervisor Scott Haggarty for their tremendous work supporting nonprofit organizations in our region. TVNPA special events are always filled with fun and flare… and they also benefit TVNPA’s work supporting the nonprofit sector and the community that drives it.
Don’t miss out because our next special event will be even more special with you there!
