Join TVNPA for an informative program, “Sponsorship Solutions: Trends, Tactics, and Insights for Nonprofits.” This event will feature a panel of experts in the field of nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and marketing, including Richard Peterson, President and CEO of the US Cultural and Heritage Marketing Council; Juliana Schirmer, CFRE, a seasoned nonprofit fundraising consultant; and Kathy Young, CEO of TVNPA. Together, they will share valuable trends, innovative tactics, and insightful strategies to help nonprofits effectively seek and secure sponsorships.

Richard is the President & CEO of US Cultural Heritage Marketing Council. Based in San Francisco, his career spans more than 25 years of strategic sales & marketing for nonprofits, destinations and arts & cultural institutions. He provides cross-industry expertise that embodies local, national, and international perspectives to meet the diverse needs of his clients.

His career includes leadership contributions with:

  • The California Academy of Sciences – Golden Gate Park
  • The Los Angeles Tourism Board
  • And Hilton Hotel Corporation

Richard’s professional affiliations include:

Juliana is a California native, and she has called the Tri-Valley home since 1983. Juliana has more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience including serving as CEO, Executive Director, Chief Development Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for social service and environmental organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, YWCA, Tri-City Health Center, New Door Ventures and the Regional Parks Foundation. Juliana has raised millions to support the Tri-Valley community through her consulting services, and in 2022 she joined the team at TVNPA. Juliana and her husband Bill met attending Foothill High School in Pleasanton, and they now share 3 daughters and 2 cute pups.
