June 16, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

TVNPA CommonPoint Nonprofit Center Gran Opening Ribbon Cutting June 16, 2022

We can’t wait to see you all in person once again at TVNPA’s CommonPoint Nonprofit Center Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!

PLEASE NOTE: There is no need to preregister for this event and you do not need to be a TVNPA member to attend the ribbon cutting and the chamber reception immediately following the ceremony. TVNPA has always believed that “Together, we’re better” and we welcome our entire community to attend. Just come on over and celebrate the launch of our new space designed specifically to serve nonprofit organizations!

The Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (TVNPA) will host a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Livermore Chamber of Commerce at CommonPoint Nonprofit Center, a co-working space and community resource center in downtown Livermore, fulfilling a long-held vision by TVNPA Co-Founders Kathy Young and Mony Nop.

Open since March 1, 2022, CommonPoint is located at 164 North L Street and is already home to the offices of Quest Science Center, HERS Breast Cancer Foundation, Hively, Monthly Miracles, NAMI and Livermore Amador Symphony. Also celebrating grand opening ribbon cuttings on June 16 will be HERS Breast Cancer Foundation, Hively, and NAMI.

CommonPoint serves as a physical extension of the programs and services TVNPA has developed to support and fuel the growth of the area’s nonprofit community for the past eight years. The 2,900 square foot center offers flexible and fixed office space for start-up and established nonprofits available on a daily drop-in or long-term basis, as well as conference room facilities.

CommonPoint features dedicated offices, dedicated cubicles, shared work-spaces, and ‘virtual offices’ for those who just want a physical address and use of the conference room. Amenities include secure WiFi, printer, conference room, kitchen, and a professional address. It is staffed by TVNPA employees and volunteers, and will host TVNPA trainings, educational sessions, and networking events.
The Grand Opening will provide an opportunity for media to take photographs, tour the site, and speak with TVNPA leadership and the nonprofit organizations who share the space.
